The Work Foundation campaigns for appropriate public policy support for people with long-term disease. Our research has already demonstrated that many people with long-term conditions want to and are able to work and can be helped to keep their jobs or return to work with the support of employers, health care professionals and appropriate public policies. Move the core issues up the agenda to positively influence the world of work. This report looks at the economic implications of six long term conditions (psoriasis, diabetic macular oedema, asthma, schizophrenia, heart failure and multiple sclerosis) in the UK. If anyone has any ideas what addition sub-types it would be useful to create, or is minded to do some sorting to the various existing more specific tags, that’d be very welcome. The purpose was to provide attendees an opportunity to discuss the NPS and find areas of agreement on next steps, collaborations, priorities, and to hold accountable those responsible for implementation. I am excited to be one of the attendees present that will be helping move a chronic pain agenda forward, making a difference in the lives of those living with pain. Chronic pain is both an under-recognized and under-resourced public health crisis with devastating personal and economic impact. I’m looking forward to representing Power of Pain Foundation as the new International Pain Foundation, myself as honoree, each honoree for what they have also accomplished and given, advocacy, volunteering, my family, my closest friends, and Dr. We look forward to the positive changes you plan on making, and send you this letter to offer our support in that endeavor, especially for the urgently needed reform of our chemical regulatory policy. The opportunity to eliminate toxic chemical exposure and build a new green economy that supports clean production of safe consumer goods is now at hand.
