Recommended because it used to thin my skin too much and cause cracks and I find it very drying. I am now unable to walk because of the pain of the open wounds, it terrifies me to try and get out of bed in a morning, the pain just makes my legs buckle, my hands make me look like a freak. I’ve used several steroids creams from my doctor but i dont seen lasting effects it always seems to creep back but ive been using a new cream. If your skin doesnt get any better i would go to a and e, i had to last time and got admitted. I have not been back to hospital since having my burns treated and have no intention to.
We have also made a special Hypoallergenic version (no Lavender) of this Face Balm. My doctor prescribed another steroid cream, and I also been to a dermatologist and she gave me something to totally kill my immune system. I have been lucky to never get the pustules but the thickening, cracking and bleeding has plagued me for 20 years. Aveeno moisturizer is great for daily moisturizing my hands and feet. I get it on prescription from my GP but it’s on sale at most High Street chemists. There’s no cure and I’ve tried everything but nothing works. It has also been found to affect females more than males. It only says treated because there is not yet a cure. I thought it had something to do with my diabetes to be honest and since it didn’t really give me any trouble I just kept putting moisturizer on my feet and ignored it. So I go to the dr, my insurance doesn’t cover a dermatologist, and he says, I don’t think its Coxsackie or it would be getting better not worse, I think its such and such Eczema (sp?) I’m like ok dry skin you’re kidding right? So he gives me some steroid pills to take, alike a 5 day treatment to get the swelling down because my fingers looked like they were going to pop and a medium duty anti itch cream for the itching. I have yet to find any means to help the dry skin, let alone the pustules. I have heard acne, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis, pustular eczema, psoriasis, ichthyosis, etc..so it is not quite as easy as it sounds. I have yet to be able to tolerate any cream without general irritation and usually an exacerbation of my symptoms- redness, rawness, burning, itching, scaling, and of course the acne-like breakouts. No matter which type you may have, this skin condition can be difficult to manage! However, with some calming natural products, you could find the soothing relief your skin is calling out for!. I have been experiencing extremely dry skin due to weather and also, I believe, the rosacea. I tried the rosacea treatment for the first time this evening, and even without the moisturizer, my skin is comfortable. I’ve alternated between the sensitive skin cream and the aging gracefully cream and they’re both fabulous. I’ve been making the majority of my own bodycare products for about the last year or so, but so far have been unable to find a good formula for facial care products, with the exception of toner. I’ve been using QV cream everyday and Elocon ointment when needed. I personally have the All Natural PawPaw Balm and I find it very useful. I’m not sure if it is a build up of keratin in my pores that’s unable to clear. I want everyone to experience the success I’ve had with Ultra Balm and encourage anyone with a severe skin problem to just TRY IT, especially if they’ve tried a lot of other solutions that have failed!
